Oh I’m off to the BBC!

Writer's picture: DougDoug

So tomorrow I’m off to Russel Square in London to film for the BBC in a short film playing a chef!

ive been really busy these past few weeks and long may it continue! I’m getting my mojo back, more confident, funny and optimistic for the future. Every day is new. New opportunities, new places and new people to meet. Thank goodness I’m still alive to have a future that has been denied to so many over the past two years.

The WAVES program I was supposed to go on to help with my BPD is full. No idea when a place will become available. Mental health services are at breaking point at the moment. It’s criminal that they were allowed to get so bad. Hopefully it’s time for a big change with men talking about their experiences and everyone getting the help they desperately need.

My life is looking up!

That's such a shame that they can't offer you a place after all you've been through and after everything you have done to help yourself. Don't ever think no-one cares, even the health services. My consultant was so upset for me when he told me I will have to suffer constant pain for at least 2 years, by which time I expect both hips will need replacing. It's not their fault
