I haven’t written here for a while. I suppose it’s because I have run out of things to say. It’s perhaps a sign that I’m finally healing and moving on from those two momentous parts of my life.

I’m just getting over covid for the second time. The first time I had it very bad in December 2019 and spent 4 days in a hotel room slowly dying! The second time was very much easier but still uncomfortable. I've had two jabs but was too busy to get my booster, which I’ll get as soon as I’m allowed

My granddaughter continues to fatten up nicely! She’s smiling and gurgling and it makes my heart burst to see her so happy and beautiful. I’ve asked my son and Sophie when can I take her out shopping!

Work is quiet at the moment so decided to have a drastic haircut. I can’t stand having long hair so went for what they call a long undercut…..I also put some ear rings back in…. What a rebel I am eh!

I’ve got a new car….. another Alfa Romeo. This time it’s a relatively modern one, a Brera which is the official replacement for my GTV, Lucille will have to go. If I could keep her I would but she still holds memories that are best pushed away and forgotten. The new car is beautiful, probably one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Ive had her 3 days and I’ve washed her 2 times already!

All in all, things are looking up. Still on the drugs but hey ho I don’t care. They seem to work as I’m more squared away and calmer than I’ve ever been. Still waiting to go in a WAVES course though! I move on further and further away from that dark day. I move further away from my past.
