I’m currently underneath the Essex countryside in a tip top secret bunker working as an extra in a WW2 film! It’s been quite surreal…… teatime I had shepherds pie followed by apple pie n custard served on China plates in the officers mess in a Cold War bunker!
I’m playing a prisoner although I look like a shipwrecked Benn Gunn! Lots of dirt was applied and as I have lots of tattoos I have a lot of bloodied bandages on!
It’s great fun and although it’s not going to set the world alight, the film is made with passion. It’s nice to be a part of a smaller crew, had a nice chat with the star Jo Millson and it’s all rather cosy and nice!
It looks like I’ve got a weeks work on the Detectorists so film work seems to be kicking in! Only another 6 days to go until House of the Dragon appears on HBO! My episodes appear in October and then straight after the second half of The Nevers starts!
